When I was trying to decide on a focus for my final project, I looked at some of the suggested ideas in the course description. One was to revise or update the Acceptable Use Policy. I admit I had never even read our AUP. After reading it, I wished I hadn’t! Talk about a confusing, yet boring read. I thought to myself, “Our MS students aren’t going to read this. And, if they do, they won’t understand it!”…aha…light bulb! Maybe I could interpret the AUP for them. I wanted to make it easy to understand and user-friendly at the same time. This video is my interpretation. It was a lot of hard work, but not only am I pleased with the outcome, I get what it’s like to create a video project. Now I understand better what I’m asking my students to do when I give them a project like this. So I definitely killed (such a harsh word…) 2 birds with 1 stone. I fulfilled the course requirement for me as a student, and I think it has made me a better teacher. Color me happy and satisfied!
